Technical Support is offered by Kate Colless who has been working alongside Dr Black since 2006. Kate is a qualified Orthoptist, graduating from her orthoptic training in 1988 from Cumberland College of Health Sciences, Sydney.
Kate possesses a unique and versatile set of skills in eye health. She has a broad experience in the assessment and care of patients with cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye conditions, and is highly trained in using specialised technology to detect and measure the progression of eye disease, providing invaluable support to Dr Black.
Kate is passionate in her efforts to assist patients in understanding and managing the nature of their eye condition.
Jackie Prentice is an Optometrist who provides technical support to Dr Black when our Orthoptist is unavailable. Jackie has been providing clinical assistance at Sunshine Eye Clinic since 2019 and has become a valuable member of our team. Jackie’s goal is to provide a thorough, caring, and comprehensive experience for each patient ensuring they receive the best possible outcome at their appointment.
